To start a Permaculture Garden, first, you should know your area and locality. It is essential for gardening purposes because a large area is required. You can also plant more according to our requirements. You should also check the soil of that area and water availability to start gardening easily.

Before starting, you should create the design of your garden according to your desires and the surrounding environment. A permaculture garden is designed to fulfill our needs and plant fruits and vegetables without pesticides and fertilizers. 

Permaculture gardenconsists of the natural ecosystem. It is the best method to save our mother earth and plant the natural ecosystem without using harmful substances. 

Various steps to start a permaculture garden

1) Check the soil

To start a Permaculture garden, first check the soil of that area where you are designing your garden, as the soil is the essential need for plants to grow. Better soil helps the plant to overgrow. There are different types of soils; different kinds of plants grow on different soil types. Soil is the most critical and essential part of our ecosystem; we cannot grow anything without soil.

2) Water availability

You must check the water availability in the area starting your garden. As we know, water is the essential requirement of every living being. Plants require water to grow; without water, plants do not grow. And for the gardening purpose, we need more quantity of water. So water should be available 24 hours and in the amount required. Different watering methods are used to water the plants according to their requirements.

As we know, open space and a better environment are required for gardening purposes. Plants grow in an environment where they can feel the fresh air. Plants grow better in an open environment where sunlight reaches them.

Organic substances are required for growing plants and vegetables for their better growth. Natural substances work on the ripeness of the dirt. Natural mulches are utilized to lessen weeds and increment the water holding limit of the dirt. Earthworms are also great for your plants as they provide nutrients to the plants. Earthworms also provide beneficial microbes to the soil that help in the growth of plants.

Designing helps us in various ways, so we should check the availability of substances we have and check from time to time. Designing helps us to know where to grow different types of plants to fulfill their needs. We may know the area better after the perfect design of the garden.
