El Al Airlines Lost Baggage

It is a sad truth that almost no airline will reimburse you for Elal lost luggage. However, El al plane is one of those rare airlines with a policy that reimburses up to $1,200 for lost checked baggage and $400 for lost carry-on luggage. That’s enough cash for a El Al Plane Ticket home in most cases. Keep in mind that both pieces of luggage must be paid for under one El Al Reservations Number. If you’ve purchased separate tickets and checked your bags on different flights, Contact El Al Airlines won’t cover your losses if they turn up missing.

Medical Treatment

El Al policy states that a refund is only possible when an individual cancels their flight within 21 days of departure. If you’re experiencing serious medical conditions, you may be entitled to a refund under their medical treatment policy. This must be pre-approved by calling El Al Customer service number and is valid for 24 hours after receiving your original El Al Booking confirmation. Delayed Flights

We know delays happen and we do everything in our power to make sure you get to your destination on time. If your flight is delayed for two hours or more, we will refund you 25% of your ticket price. For very long delays (four hours or more), we will refund 50% of your ticket price. And if an El Al flight that’s not on our schedule (but one that was actually supposed to be operating) is canceled, we’ll give you a full refund and arrange alternative transportation at no additional cost. For details on these regulations, please read Article A3 of our Terms & Conditions.

The Difference Between Waiting, Cancelled and Diverted Flights

While El Al Contact Number Airlines only considers an El Al Israel flight cancelled when it has officially been announced, passengers should realize that other issues might cause their trip to be delayed. Delays caused by weather and mechanical problems are usually waiting delays. A good rule of thumb is that if your aircraft hasn’t taken off within two hours of its scheduled time, you’re probably waiting for a flight. Another option is that passengers are moved from their original departure airport to another airport on account of weather or mechanical problems — these moves may result in changes in your flights without cancellation being called for by law.

Children Fares & Special Fares

Children aged 2-11 or 17, depending on destination and travel dates. (Infants not occupying a seat are free of charge.) Infants from birth up to two years may travel for free if they do not occupy a seat. The infant must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 15 years old, with a paid passenger ticket for El Al Israel flights (or purchase of an infant fare ticket). The ElAl policy does not apply to tickets purchased through travel agencies, rather than directly from El Al Israel Airlines.
