In 1975, Dr.ildaura Murillo-Rohde founded the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) to promote the recruitment and retention of Hispanic nurses in the United States. Her work with NAHN led to her appointment as a Permanent UN Representative to UNICEF for the International Federation of Business and Professional Women.
